Who is the DermaClear Kit for?

The DermaClear Kit suits oily or combination skin with a tendency towards impurities, blackheads and enlarged pores. The four products combine exfoliating and soothing steps with a light day cream, which also helps with a dull complexion or early fine lines. At Olivida, this kit sits in the Product Bundles collection. The four 8-gram miniatures let you try out a routine before you buy a full size.

How do you use the DermaClear Kit?

Cleanse your skin first with a cleanser of your choice, since this kit doesn't include one. During the day, use the Advanced Stem Cell Rebuilding Complex and follow with the B5 Moisture Matte. Finish your morning routine with the SheerZinc Broad Spectrum SPF 30 as the last step. In the evening, use the Advanced DermaClear Serum, and repeat the Advanced Stem Cell Rebuilding Complex then too. The acids in the Advanced DermaClear Serum make the skin more sensitive to the sun. Because of that, always apply the SheerZinc Broad Spectrum SPF 30 during the day and reapply it every two hours. Each of the four products also has its own page with the full instructions for use. Use the products from this kit daily, in the morning and the evening.

Active ingredients in the DermaClear Kit

The kit works with active substances from the four individual products: Zinc Oxide, Ferulic Acid and THD Ascorbate (vitamin C).

Zinc Oxide (18.6%). Zinc Oxide is the mineral UV filter in the SheerZinc Broad Spectrum SPF 30, the day cream in this kit. It's the only active sun filter in that product, as its own ingredient list shows.

THD Ascorbate (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, vitamin C). This oil-soluble form of vitamin C is in the same SheerZinc Broad Spectrum SPF 30. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects the skin against free radicals.

Ferulic Acid. Ferulic Acid is in the Advanced Stem Cell Rebuilding Complex, alongside plant stem cells from Edelweiss. It's an antioxidant that protects the skin against free radicals.

What's the difference between the DermaClear Kit and the standalone Advanced DermaClear Serum?

The DermaClear Kit contains four miniatures, including the Advanced DermaClear Serum. The standalone Advanced DermaClear Serum is the full size of that one serum from the kit.

Does the DermaClear Kit include a cleanser?

No, this kit doesn't contain a cleanser. Cleanse your skin first with a cleanser of your choice, for example the DermaClear Cleanser, before applying the four products.

Who shouldn't use the DermaClear Kit?

This kit isn't suitable if you're allergic to aspirin or salicylates. That's because of the Advanced DermaClear Serum, which contains salicylic acid according to its own ingredient list, a substance related to aspirin. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor or midwife first before using this kit.

Does the DermaClear Kit contain fragrance?

One of the four products contains fragrance: the B5 Moisture Matte, listed as Fragrance or Parfum in the ingredient list. The other three products in the kit are free from added fragrance.
