The DermaQuest DermaClear Cleanser is a gel cleanser for oily and combination skin prone to impurities. The formula contains 1% Mandelic Acid, a mild AHA, combined with pineapple and papaya fruit enzymes and Tea Tree Oil. It suits oily and combination skin, particularly a shiny T-zone and blackheads.
The DermaClear Cleanser suits oily or combination skin with congested pores and blackheads, usually visible on the nose, chin and forehead. Oily skin and combination skin both benefit from daily, mild exfoliation that doesn't dry out the skin. Four products carry the DermaClear name: alongside this cleanser, there's the DermaClear Mask, the Advanced DermaClear Serum and the DermaClear Kit.
Wet your skin first with lukewarm water. Massage the DermaClear Cleanser gently over your face, then rinse thoroughly. Continue your routine with a serum or moisturiser. Because you rinse the cleanser off, the mandelic acid only works on your skin briefly. Use this product in the morning and/or evening.

Mandelic Acid (1%). Mandelic acid is an AHA with a relatively large molecule. It penetrates the skin less deeply and more slowly than glycolic acid, which suits a cleanser that only stays on the skin briefly.
Pineapple and papaya extract. Alongside the mandelic acid, these fruit enzymes provide gentle, enzymatic exfoliation. Dead skin cells release more easily, leaving skin feeling smoother.
Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil). Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of the Australian tea tree. It calms the skin and visibly reduces redness.
