The DermaQuest C Infusion Cleanser is a foaming gel cleanser with THD Ascorbate, a stable form of vitamin C. The cleanser cleanses while adding antioxidants at the same time, instead of rinsing them away. It suits normal, dry and combination skin, particularly a dull complexion, dehydrated skin or an uneven skin tone. Use this cleanser in the morning and/or evening.

How do you use the C Infusion Cleanser?

Wet your skin first with lukewarm water. Massage the cleanser in gently until a light lather forms, then rinse thoroughly, again with lukewarm water. Continue with the rest of your routine, for example with a serum or a moisturiser. Because you rinse the cleanser off, the vitamin C doesn't stay on your skin; if you want that, add a separate serum. Use this cleanser in the morning and/or evening.

Which active ingredients are in the C Infusion Cleanser?

The C Infusion Cleanser contains four active ingredients: THD Ascorbate, DMAE, alpha lipoic acid and vitamin B5. Below, you'll find what each ingredient is and what it does.

THD Ascorbate (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate). A stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C that oxidises more slowly than plain ascorbic acid. As an antioxidant, it reduces damage from free radicals, which contributes to a more even skin tone and fewer visible signs of skin ageing.

DMAE. DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) is a substance that also occurs naturally in the body and is one of the four active ingredients in this cleanser.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (Thioctic Acid). Alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant that supports the skin's natural protection against outside influences.

Vitamin B5 (Panthenol). Panthenol hydrates and soothes the skin, so it feels comfortable rather than tight after cleansing.
