The Color Wow Dream Coat for Curly Hair is a 200 ml styling spray for wavy and curly hair. With the brand's regular Dream Coat sprays, you activate the formula by blow-drying, to make straight hair smooth and frizz-free. This curly version works the other way round. You spray it directly onto wet hair after washing, so your curl stays defined instead of straightened.

Suitable for wavy and curly hair, especially hair that frizzes quickly in humid weather. The formula leaves no product build-up, the residue that styling products can leave behind over time, and doesn't weigh hair down. That means you can use the spray every time you wash your hair.

If you have finer wavy hair that falls flat quickly under heavy styling products, the light formula is a good choice. It doesn't weigh hair down. If you have thicker, unruly curly hair, spray the formula generously so every layer gets saturated.

How do you use the Dream Coat for Curly Hair?

You use the Dream Coat for Curly Hair after washing, on wet hair. Wash your hair first with a sulfate-free shampoo, such as the Color Wow Color Security Shampoo. Squeeze excess water out of your hair with a towel. Divide your hair into sections and spray the Dream Coat generously, so each section gets fully saturated. Don't forget the lower layers.

Let your hair air-dry afterwards, or blow-dry it with a diffuser. You don't need a flat iron, since the formula already works on wet hair. You can also use the spray on hair you've simply wetted, without having washed it first.

Active ingredients

VP/Methacrylamide/Vinyl Imidazole Copolymer, PEG-40/PPG-8 Methylaminopropyl/Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone Copolymer and Polyimide-1. These are film-forming polymers, ingredients that wrap each strand in a light, flexible coating once it dries. That coating blocks moisture from the air, so curls visibly frizz less, even in high humidity.

Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Propanediol and Propylene Glycol. Moisture-binding ingredients that attract and hold moisture inside the hair fibre. They keep the curl supple and flexible instead of stiff.

Hydrolyzed Keratin. Keratin, the protein that makes up hair, is broken down into smaller particles for this formula. Those particles fill in small irregularities in the hair fibre, which makes hair feel smoother.

Tocopherol. This is the natural, plant-derived form of vitamin E. As an antioxidant, it helps mop up free radicals that can affect hair over time.
