How do you use the OLAPLEX Nº. 6 Bond Smoother?

Use OLAPLEX 6 after every wash, on damp or dry hair. Apply a small amount and work the cream through from mid-lengths to ends; you don't need it at the roots. You don't rinse the cream out: it's a leave-in product that stays in your hair until the next wash. Want to restyle in between washes? Apply the Bond Smoother to dry hair too, as often as needed.

How does the OLAPLEX Nº. 6 Bond Smoother differ from Nº. 7 and Nº. 10?

OLAPLEX 6 is a cream that reduces frizz and flyaways, in every hair type from straight to coily. The OLAPLEX Nº. 7 Bonding Oil is a light oil that mainly protects against heat up to 232°C and against UV radiation. You apply it before blow-drying or heat styling. The OLAPLEX Nº. 10 Bond Shaper Curl Defining Gel is made for wavy hair, curly hair and coily hair. You apply the gel to wet hair, and that brings your natural curl pattern to life.

You use OLAPLEX 6 yourself after the shampoo and conditioner, numbers 4 and 5. The oil and the gel, numbers 7 and 10, follow after that, based on their own directions for use.

Active ingredients

Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate. The substance behind OLAPLEX's Bond Building Technology, present throughout the whole Nº. range. A bond is a chemical link between molecules in the hair fibre.

Behentrimonium Chloride and Cetrimonium Chloride. Conditioning agents that make hair easier to detangle, which helps reduce frizz and tangling.

Dimethicone and Phenyl Trimethicone. Silicones that smooth the outside of the hair fibre, for a smoother finish and more shine.

Panthenol. Also known as provitamin B5, a substance that binds moisture to the hair for a softer feel.

Tocopherol and Tocopheryl Acetate. Two forms of vitamin E, an antioxidant that protects the hair fibre against free radicals.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice. Juice from the aloe vera leaf, a soothing ingredient that adds moisture to the hair.

The formula contains no sulfates, parabens or gluten. The cream is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
