The Press & Clear from Medik8 is a gentle, microbiome-friendly daily toner developed for blemish-prone skin. The formula helps visibly reduce pimples, clogged pores and dark marks left by blemishes, while keeping the skin barrier healthy and balanced. Skin looks clearer, more even and more refined, without feeling tight or dried out.
The toner contains 2% encapsulated salicylic acid (BHA), which exfoliates deep inside the pores and helps reduce excess sebum, blackheads and blockages. Thanks to the encapsulation technology, the salicylic acid is released gradually, which makes the formula comfortable enough for daily use, even on sensitive skin.
The formula also combines 2% tranexamic acid with polylysine to tackle both active blemishes and marks left after pimples. Tranexamic acid helps reduce visible discolouration and dark marks and supports a more even skin tone, while polylysine helps keep the pores clean without disrupting the skin's natural microbiome.
Sake extract, from fermented rice water, is rich in amino acids and helps hydrate the skin and support the skin barrier. Skin feels comfortable and balanced, even with daily exfoliating use.
Use this product in the morning and/or evening.
