How do you use Daily Radiance Vitamin C SPF30?

Medik8 advises using Daily Radiance Vitamin C SPF30 only in the morning, as the last step of your routine. Cleanse your skin first with a cleanser. Apply a serum first if you use one, and let it absorb fully. Then spread a small amount of Daily Radiance Vitamin C SPF30 over your face, neck and décolletage.

SPF stands for sun protection factor. The number shows how much longer your skin stays protected against sunburn, compared with unprotected skin.

Active ingredients

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), 7%. A stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C. Vitamin C is an antioxidant: a substance that captures free radicals, particles that partly form through UV radiation. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate gives skin a visibly bright, soft and youthful appearance and prevents visible signs of skin ageing.

Advanced UV filters. This cream uses three chemical sunscreen filters: Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Ethylhexyl Triazone and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Chemical filters penetrate the top layer of the skin and convert UV radiation into heat. A mineral filter stays as a particle on the skin and absorbs most of the radiation there. Together they protect the skin against UVA and UVB radiation.

Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid). This attracts moisture and holds it in the skin. Hyaluronic acid provides hydration and a more supple skin this way.

Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E). This is also an antioxidant. Tocopheryl Acetate captures free radicals and protects the skin against them.

Free from synthetic dyes, parabens (commonly used preservatives), palm oil, phthalates, alcohol and artificial fragrances. The product is vegan and cruelty-free.
