How do you use Advanced Night Restore?

Use Advanced Night Restore only in the evening, as the last step of your routine. Cleanse your skin first and, if you use one, apply a vitamin A serum. Let that absorb for a few minutes before applying the night cream. Spread a small amount over your face and neck and massage it in gently until absorbed. The formula contains no acids or retinoids, so you don't need a build-up schedule and can use the cream every evening from the start.

Active ingredients

Multi-Ceramide Complex and Ferric Hexapeptide-35. The formula contains five types of ceramides (Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide NS, Ceramide EOP and Ceramide EOS), together with the peptide Ferric Hexapeptide-35. Ceramides are lipids that naturally form part of the skin barrier; peptides are small protein building blocks. Together they strengthen the skin barrier, resulting in smoother, firmer-looking skin when you wake up.

N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG). This ingredient appears in the ingredient list as Acetyl Glucosamine and stimulates the skin's own production of hyaluronic acid. More hyaluronic acid means more moisture retention, so skin feels fuller and better hydrated.

Saskatoon Berry and Dragon Fruit Extract. Amelanchier Alnifolia (Saskatoon) Fruit Extract and Hylocereus Undatus (Dragon Fruit) Fruit Extract are the antioxidants in this cream. They support the skin in keeping a healthy, even complexion.

What's the difference between Advanced Night Restore and Medik8's other night creams?

Advanced Night Restore doesn't itself contain vitamin A and is meant to be used after an active serum or after a vitamin A cream. Medik8 also makes night creams with vitamin A in the formula, such as the r-Retinoate INTENSE. That cream contains Retinyl Retinoate and encapsulated retinaldehyde and works as a replacement for a separate serum.
