The Image MD - Restoring Facial Cleanser from Image Skincare is an intensive cleanser based on a blend of three different acids: glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and lactic acid. It effectively removes makeup and cleanses the skin.
What makes the combination of three different acids so special? Glycolic acid has a broad range of benefits: anti-aging, hydrating, anti-inflammatory, and exfoliating. Because it's a small molecule, it can penetrate deeper into the skin. This paves the way for salicylic acid, an acid that dissolves oil and regulates sebaceous glands. Lactic acid also has intense hydration, preventing the cleanser from drying out the skin.
Besides acids, this cleanser also contains panthenol and antioxidants to soothe and soften the skin. Although this is a mild acid-based cleanser, we recommend starting with three evening applications per week and supplementing with a non-acidic cleanser. This allows the skin to gradually adjust to the active ingredients. You can then gradually increase this to seven times per week.
Use this product every morning and evening after building up.
