Active ingredients

The Sheer Matte Moisturizer SPF 30 contains these active ingredients.

Homosalate, Octisalate and Zinc Oxide (9.3%). Homosalate and Octisalate are chemical filters: they absorb UV radiation and convert it into heat. Zinc Oxide works differently, staying on the skin as particles and absorbing most of the radiation there.

Ectoin. Ectoin naturally holds moisture inside skin cells. It helps protect skin from dehydration caused by sunlight and by blue light from screens.

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (vitamin C). This oil-soluble form of vitamin C blends easily into a cream. As an antioxidant, it neutralises free radicals, particles that can age the skin.

Micro-algae. Extracted from the alga Haematococcus pluvialis, this ingredient supplies antioxidants that add to the protection from vitamin C.

Acetyl Zingerone. Derived from ginger extract, this ingredient also acts as an antioxidant.

Silica microbeads. Fine, round particles of silica that help create the cream's mattifying finish.
