The ALPHA-H Vitamin E Serum is a calming serum for dry and sensitive skin, in a 25 ml bottle. It is also known as the first aid serum. The formula pairs vitamin E, an antioxidant, with three plant oils: evening primrose oil, sweet almond oil and macadamia oil. It is made for skin that turns red easily, or feels irritated and rough.

The ALPHA-H Vitamin E Serum suits dry skin and sensitive skin. At Olivida it sits under two skin concerns: dehydrated skin and visible redness. It is meant to help sensitive or irritated skin feel calmer. The ingredient list contains no vitamin A, so no retinol and no retinal.

How do you use the ALPHA-H Vitamin E Serum?

Cleanse your face first. Then apply 3 to 4 drops of the Vitamin E Serum to clean skin, across your face and neck. Let the serum absorb until the skin feels touch-dry, then follow with your usual day or night cream. You can use the serum in the morning and/or evening, so up to twice a day.

Active ingredients

Vitamin E (Disodium Lauriminodipropionate Tocopheryl Phosphates). In this serum, vitamin E comes as disodium lauriminodipropionate tocopheryl phosphates, a form of vitamin E. Vitamin E is an antioxidant: it protects the skin against free radicals, the particles that sunlight and smoking release.

Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil). Evening primrose oil is pressed from the seeds of the evening primrose, a plant whose yellow flowers open towards dusk. It is a plant oil that consists largely of fatty acids.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil). Sweet almond oil comes from the kernel of the sweet almond. Almonds count as tree nuts where allergies are concerned. If you have a nut allergy, always check the ingredient list on the packaging before you use the serum.

Macadamia Oil (Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil). Macadamia oil is pressed from the nuts of the macadamia tree. This plant oil, too, is made up mostly of fatty acids.

The ALPHA-H Vitamin E Serum is vegan and cruelty-free.
