Add water and the balm emulsifies into a milky texture, which you rinse off with warm water or a warm compress. Repeat if needed and follow with a serum or cream, such as the ALPHA-H Essential Hydration Cream. In the evening, ALPHA-H recommends double cleansing: two rounds in a row, since skin carries more dirt from the day's make-up.

The balm is also multifunctional. You can use it as a sleep-in mask, leaving it on your skin overnight. The formula of the Melting Moment Cleansing Balm is built around eight active ingredients.

• Grape Seed Oil, Orange Oil and Yuzu Oil are plant oils from grape seeds and the peel of orange and yuzu. Together, they cleanse the skin deeply without stripping or drying it out.
• Vitamin E is an antioxidant. It supports the recovery of the skin barrier, the skin's protective outer layer.
• Bisabolol is a soothing ingredient from chamomile-like plants. It calms the skin and visibly reduces redness.
• Sandalwood Oil is an aromatic oil from the sandalwood tree that gives the balm its warm scent.
• Mandarin Oil is a citrus oil from mandarin peel that gives the balm its fresh scent note.
• Ylang Ylang Oil is a floral oil that rounds out the balm's fragrance.
